Make Your Workspace Work For You

Get more work done by taking the time to get your workspace right.

The workspace you occupy not only shapes who you are, it also shapes how you behave. By making some slight changes to your workspace, you can reduce your stress and increase your productivity. 1. Own your workspace: Just because you are given a certain area for your workspace, doesn’t mean you can’t put your own signature on it. The workers given this control also identified more with the employer, a sign of increased commitment to team effort and increased efficiency. 5. Work with blue: The colour blue has been shown to ramp up innovative ideas, while it also evokes feelings of calm and productivity. A pretty easy way to feel more zen in a hectic office.
