Bondi lovers, Vicious Cycle is one exercise session you need to try before you hit the beach.
Bondi is known for its gorgeous beach and buzzing social scene. Everywhere you turn, locals are keeping fit running on the sand, working out on the grass or catching waves. To add to the endless activities on offer, Vicious Cycle has opened a studio dedicated exclusively to indoor cycling classes. Tucked down the back of shops on Curlewis St, Vicious Cycle might seem like a quiet studio, but take a step inside and you’ll see a very different picture.
Everything from the instructor to the music oozes energy. Last Sunday, I trialled an early morning class as a guest of Vicious Cycle and was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the instructor Brett who assisted with setting up my wheels for the class. Throughout the class, Brett gave pleasant reminders about the importance of technique and posture, all while motivating us to increase intensity or speed so we would all achieve the workout we were after. I left the class feeling like I’d had a decent workout.
For those of you looking to give this indoor cycling experience a try, attending is easy. There’s no memberships or joining fees, just “pay per ride” pricing. There’s also an online booking system, which makes it super easy to sign up. To book your place, visit Vicious Cycle.
