Health and the City stands for balance, fitness, food, happiness and wellness.
In our fast-paced, work-obsessed culture, success often comes at a price to our wellbeing, but Health and the City reminds us that our life is shaped from the inside out and not the other way around. Health and the City aims to inspire, energise and empower you to bring your focus back to all things wellbeing, so you can wake up everyday with the energy and drive to be the best version of yourself.
Health and the City does this through content that is not only creative and engaging, but also thought-provoking, real and well-researched. Developed by accredited practising dietitian, accredited exercise physiologist and yoga teacher Caitlin Reid, Health and the City provides credible information and a supportive community for everyone looking to achieve better wellbeing. You can trust the information on Health and the City thanks to the involvement of a range of leading health, nutrition, wellbeing and fitness experts.
Health and the City will inspire and motivate you to love your life.
Health and the City first launched in 2006 when it started as a Nutrition and Exercise Studio based in Sydney. A couple of years later, Health and the City the book was released. While I loved working with all of our clients, I wanted to inspire more people than a single studio alone could reach. This is when Health and the City evolved into an e-zine – a website dedicated to inspiring, energising and empowering you to become the best version of yourself. It’s no secret that we’re all pressed for time, but my aim for Health and the City is to motivate you to think about your wellbeing irrespective of how busy you are. Whether it’s for just five seconds a day as you scroll through our social media feeds or for five minutes as you read our latest post, these small pauses can deliver big changes to how you live your life. I’m looking forward to being part of your journey.
